Kris Kirkaldy, a teacher at Vergennes Union High School, is eligible to earn a prestigious award through the Nellie Mae Foundation. The award is for a creative contribution to student-centered learning and if she succeeds, $100,000 goes to the school to be used for the benefit of students.
